Gogo Liatsou
A psychologist shaped by sociology, criminology, and a lifelong curiosity about what it means to be human
My path to psychotherapy has been anything but linear — and I believe that is one of its greatest strengths. Trained across disciplines that each illuminate a different facet of human experience, I bring to every session a wide-angle understanding of how people are shaped: by their inner world, their relationships, their histories, and the social structures they inhabit.
My aim is to create a safe and supportive space where you can explore your thoughts and emotions, deepen your understanding of yourself, and develop new ways of navigating life’s challenges. My approach is grounded in deep respect for the uniqueness of each person — and in the belief that meaningful change can emerge through the therapeutic relationship itself.
THE APPROACH
Systemic Psychotherapy
We do not exist in isolation. Every thought, every wound, every pattern of relating was shaped within a web of relationships — family, culture, history, language.
Systemic psychotherapy works with this understanding at its core. Rather than locating the problem inside a single person, we look at the larger context: the dynamics between people, the inherited stories, the invisible loyalties, the unspoken rules that govern how we love, work, and suffer.
In practice, this means we hold a wide lens. We notice not just what you feel, but where those feelings live — in the stories passed down through generations, in the roles you were given before you could choose them, in the spaces between yourself and the people who matter most to you.
Change, then, is not about fixing what is broken. It is about expanding what is possible.
